Environmental Safety Management Corporation, founded in 1992, is a family owned Certified Industrial Hygiene & Environmental Service company that provides the highest level of industry standard and customer service to its clients. We are a full service industrial hygiene consulting firm specializing in indoor air quality, chemical exposure sampling, mold and water quality testing, ergonomics, infection control, and OSHA compliance. We help school districts, manufacturing centers, healthcare facilities, office environments, and homeowners to develop simple remediation plans for their indoor hygiene and safety concerns.

Certified Industrial Hygienists

Industrial Hygiene is the science of protecting the health and safety of workers and their workplaces. As Certified Industrial Hygienists by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing, ESMCorp:

Dr. Richard Lynch, Ph.D, CIH – Founding President

Dr. Lynch holds a Ph.D. in Public Health with a minor in Epidemiology from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School/Rutgers University, a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Temple University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ecology from Rutgers University. He is Certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing, and is a Council-Certified Microbial Consultant, and Council-Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor by the American Council for Accredited Certification. He is also a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager by the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and the American Hospital Association.  Dr. Lynch is also a NJ Department of Health Licensed Indoor Environmental Consultant and Fellow of the American Industrial Hygiene Association; a distinction reserved for only the top 1% of Industrial Hygienists in the USA.  He previously served as Assistant Professor of Industrial Hygiene and Public Health at Rutgers University. He has authored numerous scientific peer-reviewed articles on air quality, mold, ergonomics, and occupational/environmental illness in journals including the following:

Richard A. Lynch, MBA, CIH

Richard A. Lynch holds an MBA in Environmental Sustainability from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Bloomsburg University. He is Certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, and is a Council-certified Indoor Environmental Consultant by the American Council for Accredited Certification. He is also a NJ Department of Health Licensed Indoor Environmental Consultant.
